动物组织中含有大量分布在细胞膜上的不饱和类脂。这些类脂在有氧的存在下是极不稳定的。一旦在这些类脂中有游离的基团形成便会发生类脂过氧化反应;随之损伤细胞膜的完整性。因此,类脂过氧化反应被认为是某些病理过程如维生素E 缺乏、四氯化碳和酒精中毒、放射损伤、高气压效应、肿瘤以及衰老等的结果。Barber 和Bernheim对类脂过氧化反应的问题作过综述.本篇就有关对精子的类脂过氧化反应研究的新进展作一综述。
Animal tissue contains a large number of unsaturated lipid distributed in the cell membrane. These lipids are extremely unstable in the presence of oxygen. Lipid peroxidation occurs once free groups are formed in these lipids; consequent damage to the integrity of the cell membrane. Lipid peroxidation is therefore considered to be the result of certain pathological processes such as vitamin E deficiency, carbon tetrachloride and alcoholism, radiation damage, hyperbaric pressure effects, tumors and aging. Barber and Bernheim reviewed the problems of lipid peroxidation and reviewed the recent advances in the lipid peroxidation of sperm.
