坚持和巩固马克思主义在我国意识形态领域的指导地位,是全党和全国人民加强团结、始终沿着正确方向前进的思想保证。在中国,要把6400万党员和12亿多人的思想统一起来,必须有一套先进的思想体系,这只能是马列主义、毛泽东思想、邓小平理论。认识这一点,在政治上第一要紧。坚持马克思主义,必须紧密结合我国社会主义改革和建设、国际形势发展变化的新实际,不断丰富和发展马克思主义,不断增强马克思主义理论的说服力和战斗力,这样才能真正坚持好马克思主义。全党同志首先是各级领导干部必须坚持马克思主义的发展观点,坚持实践是检验真理的唯一标准,坚持理论联系实际。
