1908年,清朝末期,在慈禧太后的大力支持下,中国自来水事业发端。拧开龙头,清水如注,咕咚咚下肚,自来水被视为方便、洁净的伟大发明。百年后,4000余家自来水厂,每天供应6000万吨自来水,覆盖全国4亿多县级以上城市居民,水质安全,重若泰山,关系国计民生。然而如今,自来水却面临前所未有的质疑和猜测:一边是各地政府“各项指标均符合饮用水标准”的声明,一边是专家20年不喝自来水的现身说法。
In 1908, with the strong support of the Empress Dowager Cixi in the late Qing Dynasty, China’s tap water business started. Unscrew the faucet, water, such as note, Gulu Donggudu, tap water is considered a convenient and clean great invention. A hundred years later, more than 4,000 waterworks supplied 60 million tons of tap water each day, covering more than 400 million urban residents above the county level in the country. Nowadays, however, tap water is facing unprecedented challenges and speculations: On the one hand, it is a statement from all local governments that “all indicators are in line with drinking water standards,” while the experts say they do not drink running water for 20 years.
