The year 2009 marks the thirtieth anniversary of the reform and opening up. Taking this opportunity, the Yangju Troupe of Jiangsu Province has put forth and drafted a large-scale modern drama that reflects the process of modern rural modernization, the establishment of grassroots power and the progress of rural democracy.
