当我们欣赏巧夺天工的民间剪纸和其它民间美术作品时,知晓它就是出自乡村那些目不识丁的老婆婆们之手,便不胜惊讶:“没有文化的人怎么会有如此美好的艺术创作呢?”我自己也迷惑不解。譬如,没有一位专业画家的艺术成就,不是与他的文化素养成比例的。而文化素养,往往是艺术家获得灵感、不断进行创造的动因之一。它可启动和强化艺术家的联想、通感的心理功能,使之触景生情、浮想联翩;它可将艺术家的构思引向深入,使人的审美体验得到升华;它可给艺术家的天赋才华增羽添翼。一个文化单薄、贫乏的人,艺术生命是很难长久的。
