二十世纪的建筑是作为独立的机能体存在的,就像一部机器,它几乎与自然脱离,独立发挥着功能,而不考虑与周围环境的协调;但到了二十一世纪,人、建筑都需要与自然、文化环境建立一种连续性,不仅是节能的,还是生态的、能与社会承前启后的。轻盈的舞者伊东丰雄,是2013年普利兹克建筑奖获得者,作为日本四零后建筑师的代表人物,早期受到以黑川纪章为代表的“新陈代谢”派的影响。从1984年的“银色小屋”起,他开始用自己的方式表达对社会的思考.并探索如何将日本的传统文化体现在现代建筑上。“轻盈”、“自然”、“流动”则是大众对他多变的建筑风格的总结。
