申立国副省长提出搞好抗旱工作的五个途径

步入21世纪,我省持续干旱,尤其是今年发生了建国以来最为严重的干旱,最重时全省受旱面积7544万亩,占耕地面积的55％。全省各地在省委、省政府的领导下全力抗旱,通过兴修水利工程、调整农业种植结构、改善种植方式等办法降低旱灾损失。前不久,申立国副省长针对全省的抗旱工作提出了抗旱必须遵循的五个途径,对我省今后抗旱工作提出了战略性要求。

As we enter the 21st century, the drought in our province has continued. Especially since the founding of this year, the most serious drought has occurred. At the height of this year, the drought-affected area in the province was 75.44 million mu, accounting for 55% of the total cultivated land. Throughout the province under the leadership of the provincial party committee and government, they worked hard to combat drought and reduced their losses by building water conservancy projects, adjusting agricultural planting structure and improving planting methods. Not long ago, Vice Governor Shen Liguo proposed five approaches for drought relief in response to the province’s drought relief work, putting forward strategic requirements for future drought relief in our province.
