赵宗复出身封建官僚家庭,在党的影响下走上革命道路,从事党的秘密工作,他利用和阎锡山的特殊社会关系,为共产国际军事情报处搜集蒋介石、阎锡山勾结日本帝国主义侵华的情报,为党做了大量的工作.建国后担任山西省教育厅厅长,山西大学副校长,太原工学院院长、党组书记等职,1966年逝世.本文向读者介绍的是1948年8月至1949年4月,赵宗复被囚禁期间,通过写“自白书”而骗取阎锡山的信任,利用重新获得“自由”上班的机会,继续组织和领导情报活动的事.
