在山东临沂城东南的沂河岸边,在美丽的金雀山与银雀山之间,有一座气势恢宏的烈士陵园。陵园内安放着“我军优秀的后勤专家”(陈毅语)张元寿的半身石质浮雕。那陵墓前的石碑上,刻有陈毅题写的墓志铭:“纪念张副参谋长元寿:努力支前,常共甘苦,运筹帷幄,永忆英才。” 张元寿牺牲时是华东野战军副参谋长,他是华东军区、第三野战军在解放战争中英勇献身的最高级指挥员。
