宁波是国内最早构建会展管理体系的城市之一,但宁波在发展会展业的硬件和软件资源上都比较缺乏。虽然宁波既是港口城市,也有产业支撑,但宁波会展业却没有取得迅猛发展。宁波地处长江三角洲南翼,又毗邻国际大都市上海,上海会展业对宁波的冲击是相当的强势。因此宁波要大力发展会展业,只能扬长避短,找到自身的优势,才能在即将到来的上海世博会中分得一杯羹。
Ningbo is one of the earliest cities to build an exhibition management system in China, but Ningbo is short on the hardware and software resources for developing the convention and exhibition industry. Although Ningbo is not only a port city, but also has industrial support, but Ningbo Convention and Exhibition Industry has not made rapid development. Ningbo is located in the southern wing of the Yangtze River Delta, but also adjacent to the international metropolis of Shanghai, Shanghai’s exhibition industry’s impact on Ningbo is quite strong. Therefore, Ningbo should vigorously develop the convention and exhibition industry, can only avoid weaknesses and find its own advantages in order to gain a share of the upcoming Shanghai World Expo.
