八月三十日上午,友人急电说张菊昨晚在健身房突然倒地不省人事,在医院抢救。天真的我以为不过是轻微脑震荡,去花店挑了她最喜欢的一大束粉色花,想着她一睁开眼会看着高兴。捧着花到医院,医生来了,通知大家张菊的大脑已经死亡,源于脑溢血。 张菊,四十七岁。我心中那位美丽、光彩、聪明、独立、了不起的中国女人就这么突然地、永远地从我们眼前消失了。 第一次见张菊是在1994年上海国际电视节闭幕式上,她为当时的上海广电局长龚学平做闭幕致词翻译。我站在遥远的台下,心中着实感受了一番上海人才之国际水准。后

For the first time, seeing Zhang Ju at the closing ceremony of the Shanghai International Television Festival in 1994, she delivered a closing speech for the then director of Shanghai Radio and Television Bureau Gong Xueping.
