姚文放,男,汉族,1949年4月生于江苏省无锡市,文学硕士。现为扬州大学文学院院长、教授、博士生导师,享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家,江苏省有突出贡献中青年专家,江苏省高等学校教学名师,国家社科基金学科评议组评审专家,《文学评论》杂志编委,教育部中国语言文学学科教学指导委员会委员,江苏省高等学校首批中文教学指导委员会副主任。现任中国中外文艺理论学会副会长,中国文艺理论学会常务理事,中华美学学会常务理事,江苏省美学学会副会长,江苏省比较文学学会副会长,中国作家协会会员。
