The establishment of a global partnership for development is the future direction of the international aid system and an important way to contribute to the post-2015 global development agenda. Tripartite cooperation is an important channel linking North and South aid and South-South cooperation and strengthening cooperation and communication, but it also means coordination costs and transaction costs. The main reason why the trilateral cooperation has become a project jointly promoted by all parties is that it is politically feasible and that technical obstacles can also be overcome. Despite the shortcomings, tripartite cooperation remains one of the ways to promote the joint cooperation between developed and new aid countries, share knowledge and experience and promote the establishment of a global partnership.
