同学们聚到一块,只要提到南县黄埔军校同学黄道隆,无不称赞他是我们中间的佼佼者。他待人谦虚诚恳,有较高的文学修养和医学知识。他在教师岗位上退休后便开设诊所,给绝大多数就诊病人义务看病,只收药费。遇贫苦、残疾人或五保老人就诊,连药费都给免收了。因此他行医十余年,只落得一肩明月,两袖清风,毫无积蓄,深受群众爱戴。1987年元月,他被选为县政协委员。在连任三届委员期间,发挥自己的特殊优势,与台湾及海外同学亲友广泛联系,到目前为止,与
