党的十六届六中全会把构建社会主义和谐社会作为我国社会主义现代化建设新的战略任务和奋斗目标,为中国特色的社会主义法律提出了更高的价值追求目标。构建和谐社会是一项系统的社会工程,和谐社会是不能没有法治的。
The 6th Plenary Session of the 16th Central Committee of the Party sets the building of a socialist harmonious society as a new strategic task and goal of our socialist modernization and sets a higher goal of pursuing value for the socialist law with Chinese characteristics. Building a harmonious society is a systematic social engineering, and a harmonious society can not live without the rule of law.
