设计阴道避孕海绵Today_ 是为了克服其它阴道避孕法的缺点。自1979年世界各国开始第三期临床比较试验以来,有关结果已有报道。本文主要讨论Today_ 方法本身的效果。阴道避孕海绵Today_ 系用聚亚胺酯制成内含杀精剂壬苯醇醚及少量的构橼酸、山梨酸和苯甲酸作为防腐剂,pH为4～5。海绵呈圆盘状,直径5.5cm,厚2.5cm,一面内凹以保证放置后紧贴宫颈。使用中,24小时内平均释放壬苯醇醚125mg。海绵的外缘附一聚酯纤维带,以方便取出。放置前需先将海绵湿润,置入方法与阴道隔膜相同。于性交前24小时放入,性交后6小时取出。
Today's Vagina Contraceptive Sponge is designed to overcome the disadvantages of other vaginal methods.
