一、现状与发展白泥湖地处长江之滨,水面宽阔,湖底平坦,水草资源丰富,底栖软体动物繁多,有着发展淡水养殖的优越条件,通过可行性调查分析,于1985年元月建立区办乡级白泥湖渔场,将沿湖隶属陆城、路口两镇的十九个村民小组成整体建制划归渔场管辖。全场下设四个分场,共529户,2443人,可耕面积4173亩,可养水面11072亩的大湖,通过几年开发己建成大小鱼池46个3072亩,其中成鱼池188亩,鱼种池112亩,100亩以上水面的9个2772亩。
