我厂过去在加工如附图中③的工件时,是先用钻头钻孔,然后换铰刀铰光,所以工作效率很低。孙德章同志改进了加工的方法,他在车床上加工(如附图)。钻头①夹紧在车床刀台上。铰刀②装在一个特制的心子上,心子装在车头内,可以由后面的操纵装置带动进刀。工作时,先把工件③装在三爪夹头上,用刀架上的钻头先钻孔,然后退出钻头。再把车头后面的手柄④向前一推,铰刀便向前移动。铰刀是不转动的,工件旋转,於是铰刀便把已钻过的孔铰光。铰孔以后,把手柄拉回,因为里面装有弹簧,可以很快地退回。用这种方法,可以减少更换刀具的手续,因而提高了生产效率。
