浦东还在“涨”翻阅上海历史的版图,可以发现浦东是一块不断“扩涨”的土地,而且历史和地理知识告诉我们,一直到今天,浦东还在“涨”!如果到浦东临海的大堤上可以看到远处大片的滩涂,鸟儿空中竞翔,芦苇摇曳沙沙作响。这些滩涂就是浦东的前身,也是上海的前身,所谓的“上海滩”的说法也正是源于此。在远古,今天脚下的浦东大地其实是茫茫汪洋,长江从上游带来了无穷无尽的泥沙,在古代长江口沉淀堆积,才使浦东渐渐浮出水面,渐渐地有了海岸线。
