小学综合实践活动课是一门基于学生的直接经验,紧密贴近学生自身生活与社会生活,由学生自主实践和探索,体现对知识综合运用的全新课程;简言之,是在教师的引导下,学生自主进行的综合性学习活动。小学综合实践活动课与语、数、英等课有很大的区别,语、数、英等课受教材、课堂、学校的局限,侧重于书本的知识点;而综合实践活动课超越书本,超越体系化的教材,超越封闭的课堂,特别注重的是学生对实际活动过程的亲历和体验,更多地重视学生多样化地实践性学习,主张开放活动时空,让学生与自然、社会、生活亲密接触,从而促进学生的情感、态度、价值观等多方面的综合发展,培养了学生创创新精神和实践能力。
