党的思想政治工作是党的光荣传统和法宝,在不同的历史时期,发挥了巨大的作用。进入社会主义新农村建设新阶段后,农村思想政治工作面临着十分严峻的挑战,一些深层次的矛盾逐步暴露出来,出现了一些社会不稳定因素,有些问题虽然经过广泛的思想政治教育,但收效仍不明显,给当前的农村改革和发展带来了一定的负面影响。因此,做好当前农村思想政治工作,不仅是党的思想政治工作者面临的一大工作任务,也是时代发展带来的一大课题。

Some deep-rooted contradictions are gradually exposed and some social instability emerges.
