载誉边陲:“云南民族文化合作计划”rn20世纪90年代,美国全国性民间组织美国哥伦比亚大学美中艺术交流中心和中国云南民族大学合作开展民族传统文化艺术保护、传承、交流和人才培养,曾是一件引起轰动、影响广泛深远、国内外许多人士争相要求参与的盛事.这项名为“云南民族文化合作计划”的国际文化艺术交流活动,内容主要包纳:rn1.快速推动有40余年建校史的具权威性、独特性、唯一性长处的少数民族人才摇篮云南民族大学建立含音乐、舞蹈、美术等专业的民族艺术系(今艺术学院),以期用一种让各民族民间艺术在它的原生地、流传地云南乡土有效保存并发扬光大的新观念、新视角、新方法,培养谙熟传统文化艺术并愿为其传续发展不遗余力的少数民族高级专业人才.
