西沙群岛自古以来就是中国的领土。中国人自唐朝以来就开始在西沙群岛生活,是当时西南中沙群岛的主人。西沙群岛由永乐群岛和宣德群岛组成,是南中国海上的四大群岛之一。西沙群岛远离大陆,距海南岛180多海里。也许正是因为其远离大陆,地处热带,才构成了西沙群岛独特的热带海岛风光。
The Xisha Islands have been China’s territory since ancient times. The Chinese have lived in the Xisha Islands since the Tang Dynasty and were masters of the Zhongsha Islands in the southwest at that time. The Xisha Islands, composed of the Yongle Islands and the Xuande Islands, is one of the four major islands in the South China Sea. Xisha Islands away from the mainland, more than 180 sea miles from Hainan Island. Perhaps it is because of its far from the mainland, is located in the tropics, it constitutes a unique tropical island scenery of the Xisha Islands.
