18号饲用南瓜是1973—1974年用0.2％秋水仙素溶液处理,省内推广品种—叙利亚南瓜幼苗40株。1975—1978年对选出的突变株,采用不同授粉方式,繁殖优良株系80个。1979—1980年对优良株系进行比较鉴定,最后选出18号饲用南瓜新品种。1981—1982年对18号新品种,在省内不同自然地区进行种植试验。1983—1984年大面积生产示范。目前全省已有170余个养畜专业户进行种植。
Feed pumpkin No. 18 was treated with 0.2% colchicine from 1973 to 1974, and 40 varieties of Syrian pumpkin seedlings were promoted in the province. From 1975 to 1978, the selected mutant strains were pollinated by different methods and 80 excellent strains were propagated. From 1979 to 1980, the elite lines were compared and identified. Finally, a new feed pumpkin variety No.18 was selected. 1981-1982 on the 18th new species, planting experiments in different natural areas in the province. 1983-1984 large-scale production demonstration. At present, there are more than 170 livestock-raising households in the province.
