七桂早25是广东省佛山兽医专科学校用七优占与桂朝2号杂交育成的早籼优质(出口中优)中迟熟品种,1981年育成,1986年底经广东省农作物品种审定委员会审定通过。该种大面积生产示范亩产达400—500公斤,最高达550公斤以上,已成为广东省早稻当家种。特征特性 (1)形态作双季早稻株高为95厘米左右,作晚稻90厘米,分蘖期叶色淡绿清秀,叶枝健直,茎态丛生,秆韧抗倒,分蘖力强,后期抽穗整齐,剑叶直生,熟色极佳,收获期青叶数较多。(2)生育期早造在广东中南部种植,全生育期130天,晚造110天。(3)穗粒结构一般栽培亩有效穗22万穗左右,每穗实粒95粒,正常结实率90%以上,千粒重18克,早晚造栽培都表现穗大粒多,结实率高。
