AIM To demonstrate that specific bacteria might release bacterial extracellular DNA(e DNA) to exert immunomodulatory functions in the mouse small intestine.METHODS Extracellular DNA was extracted using phosphate buffered saline with 0.5 mmol/L dithiothrei
