轮椅上的他面色黝黑,腰干伛偻,虽已27岁了,身材还不到1米。双足不能站立,离开轮椅需用膝代足,手足并用。一双高度近视眼镜无法遮住灼灼有神的双眼释放出的自信和力量。他是手摇轮椅考察全国的第一人,自1991年12月8日拉开了“中国首次手摇轮椅爱心考察万里行”大型采访活动,于1996年9月20日成功地结束壮举。共跨越全国30个省、市、自治区,总行程近十万余里。途中,他成为世界残疾人中第一位用轮椅为工具翻越唐古拉山的勇士,还成为世界残疾人中第一位用手攀登长城的壮士。1999年3月初,他推出了个人诗集《跪拜人生》,再度引起人们的关注。他是一位生命的强者,也是一位人生的歌者。他叫尹小星。
