雹神庙小流域位于辽宁省凌源县西部,地处暖温带半湿润区,多年平均气温8.4℃,年降水量540mm,无霜期150天,海拔高度366～968m,属由浅切割至中等切割的中低山丘陵区。流域内为雹神庙全乡,共有5个行政村,43个村民组,1560户,7500人,总面积82.1km~2,原有耕地9440亩,林果地21800亩(其中果树2093亩),荒山荒坡74000多亩,村庄、道路、河道及其它用地17800多亩。水土流失面积占总面积的62.4%。全流域平均土壤侵蚀模
