The United States’ largest international newspaper, published in Europe, is moving into Asia with the strategy of offering locally-printed newspapers to Asia as soon as possible to meet the growing Asian interest in global news. The head of the U.S.-based International Herald Tribune based in Paris said that as the International Herald Tribune reached the reader’s breakfast table just as it did in the local newspaper, its readership in Asia has increased dramatically in the past two years 32%.
