刺槐生长快,适应性强,是石灰岩,紫色页岩、风化土地区荒山造林和公路、铁路以及庭园,矿区绿化的一个理想树种。材质坚硬,耐湿耐朽,可供造船,车辆、家具、农具等用。鲜叶又是优质绿肥,花是好蜜源。为摸索快速培育刺槐壮苗的途径,1984年,我们组织硖洲乡育重点户,对这一树种搞了2.5亩随采随播育苗试验,效果很好,当年11月15日最后一次观测,苗木全
Acacia grows quickly and has strong adaptability.
