本文根据笔者实地考察对前南斯拉夫地区的政治和经济形势作一概述，分析了前南各国政治形势的不同特点，认为该地区总的政治形势趋于稳定和缓和，但仍然存在着一种稳定中又不稳定，平静中又不平静的态势；介绍并分析了前南各国独立以来的经济形势，各国经济都有所改善，但差距进一步拉大，有的国家经济已恢复到独立前的水平，有的国家经济至今尚未走出谷底；重点介绍了各国金融和财税体制的改革、私有化的进程、对外经济关系等问题，认为各国在这些方面虽取得一定成效，但存在着各种不同程度的困难
Based on the author’s field investigation, this article gives an overview of the political and economic situation in the former Yugoslavia, analyzes the different characteristics of the political situation in the countries in the former Yugoslavia, and holds that the overall political situation in the region tends to be stable and relaxed.
