望果节是藏族农民欢庆丰收的节日。“望果”是藏语音译,意为“在田地边上转圈的日子”。相传公元5世纪末,藏王布德贡坚为确保粮食丰收向本教大师请教。大师施旨,让农民绕田转圈,祈求风调雨顺、五谷丰登。随着时代的不断发展,该节日的内容和形式不断更新。但是,藏族同胞以欢庆“望果节”的形式向自然表达敬畏、感恩生活的文化传统却从未改变。图为望果节期间,农民们手持麦穗围着农田转圈游行,期盼迎来的物满仓谷好收成。
