COCA(Corpus of Contemporary American English)—美国当代英语语料库,是由美国杨伯翰大学的马克·戴维斯教授开发的美国最新当代英语语料库,词汇量高达4.5亿,是当今世界上最大的英语平衡语料库。随着科学技术的发展,计算机技术的日益普及深刻影响着语言类人文科学领域,语料库研究已成为几乎所有语言研究的重要因素(Teubert,2005:1)。COCA语料库为语料库语言学的研究提供了大量的数据以及词汇,促进了语料库语言学的发展。本文主要介绍COCA的发展以及在国内的应用文献综述。
COCA (Corpus of Contemporary American English) - the American contemporary English corpus, is the latest contemporary English corpus developed by Professor Mark Davis of the University of the Sunbury, with a vocabulary of 450 million. It is the largest English balanced corpus in the world today. With the development of science and technology, the increasing popularization of computer technology has a profound impact on the field of language science. Corpus research has become an important factor in almost all languages (Teubert, 2005: 1). The COCA corpus provides a large amount of data and vocabulary for the study of corpus linguistics and promotes the development of corpus linguistics. This article mainly introduces the development of COCA and its application in China.
