王阳明对程颐思想的借鉴主要表现在:程颐的圣人之志,成为引导王阳明一生为人为学的价值观;对程颐“格物致知”成圣之方的体验、困顿,促成了阳明心学的诞生;程颐的本体论思考,使王学从心学角度融合心、理,确立了心本体的学理主旨,认为承载天理的心(良知)才是即本体即主体,是万物的存在根据和人生的主宰;《伊川易传》的哲理,尤其是其固守正道、扶正抑邪和自昭明德的人生智慧,给王阳明诸多启迪。
