瑞典与德国合资的 Coding 科技、松下电器产业、NEC 三公司日前宣布,成功开发出了高压缩率音频编码方式“Low Power SBR”。该方式已经于2002年10月在上海召开的 MPEG 会议上被采纳为最终委员会草案,有望于2003年5月作为 MPEG-4的高压缩率音频编码标准方式。作为 MPEG-4的语音编码方式目前已经有“AAC(advanced audio coding)”方式,但新方式大约相当于 AAC 两倍的压缩率,并且能够保证高音质。此前 Coding 科技提出的“MPEG-4 AAC Plus SBR(AAC Plus)”是其中的有力候补,而此次三公司发表的 Low Power SBR 是一种专门面向低耗电处
