第十七届世界兰花博览会于4月26日至5月2日在马来西亚吉隆坡举办,参加展览的有中国、美国、德国、法国、日本、泰国、英国、荷兰、丹麦、南非、澳大利亚、印尼、巴布亚新几内亚、菲律宾与新加坡等国家和地区。世界兰花基金会对此次博览会的举办给予了大力支持。基金会主席Joyce Steward女士对博览会的成功举办给予了高度的评价。 世界兰花博览会三年一届,上届兰博会于1999年在加拿大温哥华举行。本届博览会共有67个展馆,所占场地比上一届多出一倍,来自世界各国的4000多种珍奇、罕见、昂贵的兰花品种参加了展出,
The 17th World Orchid Expo was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from April 26 to May 2 with representatives from China, the United States, Germany, France, Japan, Thailand, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Denmark, South Africa, Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines and Singapore and other countries and regions.
