Well-known German physicist William Konrad Roentgen (1845 ~ 1923), discovered X-ray 100 years ago. In 1901, the Swedish Academy of Sciences awarded him the Nobel Prize in Physics, making him the first man to receive the prize. This year marks the 150th anniversary of his birth. Roentgen than his wife, Ludwig, and many friends have longevity, at the age of 78, experienced the First World War.
