漾濞彝族自治县(以下简称漾濞县)是云南省的一个农业县、贫困县,2004年总人口为100056人,其中农村人口为89245人,占总人口的89.2%。而与这一人口比例极不相称的是,该年农村居民的社会消费品零售总额只占全县社会消费品零售总额的38.16%。在城市消费市场逐渐饱和的今天,发展和繁荣农村消费市场已成为拉动和促进国民经济持续稳定发展的关键,而消费严重不足的农村市场,随着国家对“三农”的重视却有着非常巨大的市场潜力。
