He is a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences researcher Liu Dongsheng. Academician Liu Dongsheng, 87, won the major achievement of this award, a series of major breakthroughs he made in the study of the Loess Plateau. However, anyone who knows him knows that his career, apart from devoting himself to the Loess Plateau, has left his footprints in scientific expeditions in many places such as the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the Antarctic and the Arctic. Therefore, some people say that Liu Dongsheng is the true son of nature.
