惠普表示将在未来几个月内为之前发布的Web OS 1.0手机提供升级到Web OS 2.0的服务。2010年11月19～20日,惠普举办了Palm Web OS开发者日活动,惠普个人系统群组CTO Phil McKinney等一众惠普高管纷纷出席,为开发者们勾画了Web OS新的蓝图。除此之外,开发者日还讨论了Web OS 2.0及其跨平台开发工具、HTML5支持以及Web OS第三方程序的市场推广等问题。
