Objective To analyze the characteristics of opportunistic infections in HIV / AIDS patients and their relationship with CD4 cell count. Methods Flow cytometry was used to count the CD4 count in 96 patients and to analyze the opportunistic infections in patients with different CD4 levels. Results Of the 96 patients, 46 cases had opportunistic infections. The main clinical symptoms were cough, fever, digestion, fatigue, oral leukoplakia and diarrhea. The main opportunistic infections were Candida albicans, pneumonia, herpes zoster and tuberculosis . When the number of CD4 cells ≥200 / μl, the infection rate was 25.0%, the incidence of opportunistic infections is low, when the CD4 cell count is less than 200 / μl, the infection rate is 63.1%, the opportunistic infection is significantly increased. Conclusion With the reduction of CD4 cell count, the incidence of opportunistic infections in HIV / AIDS patients increased significantly, with significant difference between the two groups (P <0.05).
