Xinhua News Agency, Washington, August 15, According to a new study published on the 15th by the U.S. Department of Pediatrics, children with less sleep time have a higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes. The study was led by St. George’s College, University of London. Researchers analyzed data from more than 4,500 Britons aged 9 to 10 years, including height and weight data, blood test results and sleep data from the questionnaire. The results show that these children sleep on average 10.5 hours per night on school day, in line with school-age children at least daily
