盐池县是一个以牧为主、农林牧全面发展的山区县,经济发展的重点在农村。去年县委、政府决定,在抓好基础教育的同时,大力发展农村职业教育,使教育更好地为农村经济建设服务。经过一年多的努力,今年春季全县农村初中全部开设了职业技术课;“三加一”农村职业初中增加到了三所;职业高中确立了畜牧、农林、水电三个农村常用专业为骨干专业,使职业高中逐步成为农村职业教育中心。一个以县职业高中为中心,以“三加一”农村职业初中为骨干,以农村初中为基础的农村职业教育体系正在逐步形成。全县农村职业教育是怎样发展的呢?
Yanchi County is a mountainous county that focuses on pastoralism, and has developed all aspects of agriculture, forestry, and animal husbandry. The focus of economic development is on the countryside. Last year, the county party committee and government decided that while grasping basic education, vigorously develop rural vocational education so that education can better serve the rural economic construction. After more than a year of hard work, this year the county’s rural junior high schools have all set up vocational and technical classes; the “three plus one” rural vocational junior high schools have increased to three; vocational high schools have established three major rural common specialties as the backbone professional: livestock husbandry, agriculture, forestry, and hydropower. The vocational high school has gradually become the center of rural vocational education. A rural vocational education system based on the county vocational high school as the center and the “three plus one” rural vocational junior middle school as the backbone and rural junior high school as the foundation is gradually being formed.
