中国是茶的故乡,茶文化在中国传统文化中可谓一枝独秀。因其性寒、俭、清、雅历来备受历代文士、雅士、隐士和僧人的青睐。士人是历史文化最为敏感的先验者,其对茶的偏好正是时代文化特征在情感症结中的物化反应。因而茶和士文化无形中交织、融汇在一起,茶在一定程度上对中国士文化的发展起了催生、助长作用,而士文化又以其在不同时期的内在特质成就和丰富了茶文化的内涵。
