韩雪野是朝鲜著名的左翼作家,是社会主义现实主义创作方法的积极倡导者之一。他的短篇小说区别于其他左翼作家的显著特点即平民化特点。他的小说注重对庸常人生的平实叙写,对日常生活流程进行还原描述,左翼先锋意识的流露也均借助于大量的平民化生活日常细节的描述,在平庸中表达了对命运的反抗,使作品呈现出韩雪野固有的独特个性和风格。他的小说在庸常与先锋的奇妙结合中找到了平衡的支点,最大限度地调和了唯美和功利间的矛盾。
