无论冷轧或热轧板带材不经进一步精整是不能成为没有翘曲、波痕、镰刀弯等缺陷的十分平直的合格成品。因此,为了消除冷、热轧板带材的上述缺陷,人们在生产中相继创造了多辊矫直、拉伸矫直、平整热矫等工艺设务。但是这些工艺设备都具有局限性和固有的缺点,也不能适应高速自动化的连续轧制生产,而且经这些矫直设备矫直过的板带材的质量远远不能满足现代钢铁工业、国防工业、电子仪表工业对各种金属板带材越来越严格的要求。为了适应生产发展的需要,近来出现了连续拉伸矫直和连续拉伸弯曲矫直新工艺和新设备。而且,美国、西德、日本、苏联等国都在大力发展和广泛地采用这种新工艺和新设备(尤其是连续拉伸弯曲矫直工艺和设备)。本刊从本期起将陆续报导有关连续拉伸矫直的理论、试验研究和工艺设备。
