今年1月,李鹏总理视察了上海、宁波、江苏南通等地,指出把上海建成国际航运中心是开发开放浦东,使上海成为国际经济、金融、贸易中心之一的重要条件,对我国对外开放,对长江经济带的经济发展意义重大。上海航运中心的建立,以浙江、江苏为两翼的格局进行港口组合。这给长江下游江苏港口群的发展带来巨大的机遇和挑战。
