“观念艺术”在艺术界中充当着重要的角色,观念艺术一直是从事艺术研究工作者研究的主要方向。从索尔·勒维特到约瑟夫·柯索思都致力于对观念艺术做出理论上的论证,通过对当前艺术界的现状进行分析,可以得知虽然观念艺术家们正在努力地追求创新,但是仍然无法与西方艺术哲学以及文化体制脱离一定的关系,艺术本质思想仍然是西方传统思想中理性主义之上观念进行转变而来的。本文主要通过对观念艺术的概念进行思考,分析传统艺术惯例对观念艺术的重要性,探讨当代观念艺术发展现状中存在的问题。
