Objective To investigate the best time of bone scan in patients with lung cancer. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on the bone scan results of 127 primary lung cancer patients treated in the Department of Nuclear Medicine of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical College from June 2009 to June 2010 (346 cases). According to the results of the first bone scan The normal group (61 cases) and the abnormal group (66 cases) were compared between two groups at different intervals of bone scan changes. Results In the normal group, the rates of bone scan in> 2 ~ 4 months,> 4 ~ 6 months and> 6 ~ 12 months were 1.61% (1/61), 3.3% ), 13.1% (8/61) and 27.9% (17/61) respectively. The abnormal group at 0 ~ 2 months,> 2 ~ 4 months,> 4 ~ 6 months,> 6 ~ 12 months bone scan change The rate of change of bone scan in normal group was 0 ~ 2 months and> 2 ~ 6 months, respectively, which were 4.5% (3/66), 25.8% (17/66), 39.4% (26/66) and 42.4% There was no significant difference in the rate of change between the 4-month and the 4-month (P> 0.05), but there was a significant difference between> 6 and 12 months The rate of change of bone scan was significantly different from that of> 2 ~ 4 months,> 4 ~ 6 months,> 6 ~ 12 months (P <0.05). Conclusion The clinical examination should be based on the results of the first bone scan to select the appropriate time, the first time normal bone scan can be set at 6 months after the review; the first bone scan abnormalities, the review should be set at 2 to 4 months.
