我市五十年代小学生龋齿患病率在60%至70%左右,1958年大跃进时,我院应用氟化钠糊剂为七万多小学生局部涂擦防龋,这在国内尚属首创。1963年在南京17698名大、中、小学生龋齿调查中,小学生龋患率为46%,涂氟防龋已收到良好效果。1980年2月我们在南京三所小学为499名一二年级学生用0.2%氟化钠液漱口防龋,追踪观察三个学期,龋齿抑制率一年级
